What's Going On With Festival Bay Mall?

January 24th, 2014 8:33 AM by Brent Ferry

If you've ever been to Festival Bay Mall located at the northern end of International Drive across from the Premium Outlets and long anchored by the impressive Bass Pro Shops together with Ron Jon Surf Shop, Shepler's Western Wear, and Cinemark Theaters, you know that the center has always been otherwise, pretty much, eerily vacant.

I thought it was going to be renovated? So what's going on with the redevelopment project? Here is a news release from yesterday with more information regarding the transformation of this retail attraction into an eclectic new space.  In addition to the release below, The Orlando Business Journal reported yesterday an opening around Memorial Day as well as an additional tenant - a 46,000 square foot bowling lounge and entertainment concept called Revolutions Eat Drink Rock and Bowl.
