It was a busy weekend in the Orlando area!
I'd first like to extend a belated "welcome" to my fellow REALTORS in town for the 2012 NAR REALTORS® Conference & Expo at the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center - a wonderful event mixing business AND fun. For example, I had a great time mingling with other real estate professionals from the US and World at the private REALTORS® Night Out event at Universal's Islands of Adventure® on Friday night. I even exchanged minds with the genius Doctor Doom!
Friday also marked the start of some popular Christmas events. Both the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom made their 2012 debuts. The amazing ICE! event at the Gaylord Palms got its start on Saturday.
Other events included Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5K at Animal Kingdom where the kids and I cheered on mom to a swift finish, the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon, the last weekend of Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival, the Festival of the Masters art festival at Downtown Disney, Pioneer Day as well as the grand opening of the new Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum in Kissimmee, and more.
There is always something going on in the greater Orlando area! Come and see for yourself.
