If you have visited the Magic Kingdom within the past 17 years, you have probably seen the iconic "Partners" statue of Walt Disney hand in hand with Mickey Mouse which is located within the circular/central hub in front of the even more iconic Cinderella Castle.
The statue, created by sculptor Blaine Gibson, was dedicated at the Magic Kingdom park on this day in 1995. (Gibson also created "Sharing the Magic", the statue of Roy O. Disney seated on a bench next to Minnie Mouse which greets guests in Town Square at the other end of Main Street.)
I captured the following photo of the "Partners" statue this past weekend - a true bird's-eye view!
It seems this friendly fowl found its own "Happiest Place On Earth".
